Women's wrestling wraps up season at Nationals

CORALVILLE, Ia. – At Nationals, the Albion College women's wrestling team saw its season come to a close. The Britons had Jayla Oberst, Brynn Green and Abbie Miles advance to the tournament.

At 124, Oberst went 1-2. The senior dropped her opening match before winning in the consolation bracket in a tech fall. She fell in her next bout, seeing her historic Albion career come to an end.

Green competed at 160, also recording a 1-2 record. She responded after an opening round loss with a gritty 6-4 victory in the consolation bracket. Green dropped her next match.

Rounding out the Brits was Abbie Miles at 207. Miles won her opener, 15-12, before being eliminated in the next two matches.
