MANHEIM, Pa. — The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced their Women's Scholar All-American awards, recognizing outstanding academic achievement by individual student-athletes across the nation.
Paris Ford,
Brynn Green,
Naomi Grummet and
Brooklyn Sage have each earned this recognition.
This marks Green's second time she has received this honor.
For women's wrestlers to earn Scholar All-American honors, they must have competed in at least 10 matches and hold a 3.5 cumulative GPA, be a national qualifier and hold a 3.25 cumulative GPA or finish in the top eight at the NCAA individual national championship tournament and hold a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
A total of 540 student-athletes representing 92 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season.
