WLAX season ends in heartbreaking fashion

ADRIAN, Mich. – A heartbreaker in the final two minutes ended the Albion College women's lacrosse team's season, dropping a 12-11 contest in the MIAA Quarterfinals. The No. 5 seeded Britons fell to No. 4 seeded Adrian College. 

Kyndall Lewis's four goals paced the Britons, while Aaliyah Eudabe and Anna Huard both scored hat tricks. Lewis also picked up a team-best six ground balls. 

The teams traded blows throughout the contest, as the Bulldogs led 3-2 through one. A massive second quarter from Albion helped swing the momentum in the Brits' favor with a slim 7-6 edge at the break. 

Adrian scored five goals in the fourth quarter to tie and eventually take the lead. 

Albion was a perfect 26 for 26 on the clear. The Brits struggled on the draw, only winning nine of 26.
