Albion, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced the results for the 2026-27 Men's Wrestling Preseason Poll. The Brits were selected to finish third in the conference. Albion totaled 10 points in the poll, and received one first place vote.

Albion finished the 2026 season with a 4-5 record and went 3-1 in conference. They return two All-MIAA wrestlers who went undefeated against league opponents.

Sophomore Jayden Lewis posted a 4-0 record in conference competition at 157 pounds, while senior Owen Turnbow also finished 4-0 against MIAA opponents at 184 pounds. Both earned All-MIAA honors last season and will be key contributors as the Britons look to challenge for the conference title.

The Brits will open their season on Saturday November 7th as they travel to compete in the Trine Invitational.
