WESTERVILLE, Ohio — The Albion women's lacrosse team traveled four hours south to the Columbus area, as they lost to Otterbein, 21-5.
The Britons did get the first goal of the game courtesy of
Ellen Chown 45 seconds into the game on a free position, but the Cardinals proceeded to score the following 17 goals.
Nine of them were registered in the first quarter, while five were made in the second as Otterbein had a 14-1 advantage at the half.
Albion notched two goals in the third and fourth quarters each.
Abbey Scott scored the ones in the third, while
Lauren Thomas and
Anna Huard registered the ones in the fourth.
Nicole Miller posted nine saves in net.
For the game, the Cardinals outshot the Britons 35-16 while Albion committed 27 turnovers.
