ANGOLA, Ind. — The Albion men's golf team ended Trine's A.C. Eddy Invitational in sixth of nine teams. The host Thunder won the event.
The first round was played on Friday at Zollner Golf Course, while Round No. 2 was hosted by Glendarin Hills Golf Club.
The best finishers for the Britons were
Camden Paul, who tied for 13th with 154 strokes (77-77) and
Blake Wagner who also notched a 154 (73-81).
Nicholas Giannone tied for 19th with a 156 (72-84), with his Day 1 72 score tying a career low.
Ryan Knitter (80-82) and
Bradley Davis (78-91) rounded out the team scorers for Albion.
Charlie Dierkes competed as an individual and tied for 35th with a 161 (81-80).
Up Next
Albion will host its own invitational on April 20-21 at Marshall Country Club before the MIAA Finale the following week at Hawks Head Golf Course in South Haven.
