FINAL RESULTS
SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. — The Albion men's golf team wrapped up their season with a sixth-place showing (627 strokes) at the two-day MIAA Finale held at HawksHead Links.
The winning team Calvin totaled 576 strokes, eight more than second-place Trine.
Camden Paul led the Britons once more during Round 2 with a 75 to total 153 through both days which was good for 23rd.
Blake Wagner shot a 77 (156 total) and tied for 27th, while
Nicholas Giannone posted a 76 to rack up 158 strokes that tied him for 29th.
Ryan Knitter notched an 80 final round to give him 160 strokes for the tournament (t-31st).
Bradley Davis rounded out the Albion scorers with an 81 to total 166 strokes for 41st.
Individually,
Charlie Dierkes finished with a 153 (75-78) to tie him for 23rd.
Wagner earned second-team All-MIAA honors, while fellow senior Knitter won the MIAA Sportsmanship Award for the second consecutive year. Wagner is the first Albion golfer to be named to an All-MIAA team since Justin Kapke in 2020, and Knitter is the only player since the Sportsmanship Award's inception in 2007 to win it twice.
As a team, the Britons finished the season fifth in the MIAA standings with a 310.00 scoring average at the four conference jamborees and the Finale.
