MARSHALL, Mich. — The Albion men's golf team made their spring debut in a dual match with Trine at Marshall Country Club.
The Britons lost, 41-29, in match play in what was called the Thunder-Brit Cup.
In stroke play,
Blake Wagner led Albion with a 2-under performance that put him in second among the field. Trine's Lance Decker won with a 3-under score.
Charlie Dierkes finished third with an even score, while
Ryan Knitter tied for ninth by shooting 5-over.
Camden Paul (t-11th, +7),
Bradley Davis (t-13th, +8),
Xander Goss (16th, +9),
AJ Pace (t-17th, +10),
Brayden Goss (t-19th, +13) and
Matt Sypniewski (t-19th, +13) rounded out the rest of the Britons.
Pace,
Brayden Goss and Sypniewski competed as individuals.
