Albion, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced the results for their 2026 Men's Soccer Preseason Poll. The Britons were selected to finish third in the conference this season. Albion totaled 35 points in the poll. The team comes off of tying for second in the league with a record of 5-1-1 in conference and going 12-3-2 overall. 

Head Coach Wytse Molenaar returns for his 11th season and returns several standout players. Forward Robin Ruigendijk, reigning MIAA Freshman of the Year, returns as well as Midfielder Esteban Mercado and Defender Lucas Anderson who received First Team All-MIAA honors. Xavier Yuille, Khalil Camara, Binck-Jan Bakker, and Joshua Jasinkiewicz all return as well after earning Second Team All-MIAA last season. 

The Britons open their season at home vs. Spring Arbor on Tuesday September 1st at 7:00 PM.
