Achieved distinction on the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll.
2016 MIAA Championships: Produced 25 points, reaching the final in the 100 backstroke (placing eighth)...Swam in the consolation heat of the 200 backstroke (finishing ninth) and the 50 freestyle (finishing 12th, 25.37)
2015 MIAA Championships: Her 24.72 split helped Albion to a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay (1:37.30)...Achieved a lifetime-best time in the 200 freestyle (1:59.98) to help Albion finish fourth in the 800 freestyle relay...Individually, she finished 12th in the 50 freestyle (24.99), 13th in the 100 butterfly (1:02.83) and 14th in the 100 freestyle (55.02).
Prior to Albion: A state qualifier who graduated from Harper Creek with pool and school records...Achieved academic all-state performer who was named Harper Creek's top English student of the class of 2014.
Personal: An exercise science and psychology major...Enjoys writing, reading and watching movies...Daughter of Harold and Dawn Vaive.
