Prior to Albion: A two-time all-county second team and all-Kensington Lakes Activities Association pick who holds two school records at Howell High School...A four-year honor roll student and member of the student council, he was a two-year member of the National Honor Society and graduated with honors.

Personal: Said "Albion met everything I needed to help me get to the next step academically, while having the athletics as a bonus"...Enjoys bowling, fishing and golfing...A biology major who is a member of Albion's Wilson Institute for Medicine...Son of Mark and Melissa Hornyak.
