Achieved distinction on the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association’s Academic Honor Roll the last two years.

2014: Achieved Albion's low average for the season at 78 strokes for all rounds and 77.4 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association competition...His low rounds of the season were scores of 75 at Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids.

Personal: A transfer student from Muskegon Community College who is majoring in accounting...The son of Tim and Pam Covell...The youngest in the family with two older sisters, Rachel and Heather.
