A letterwinner in lacrosse (four years), cross country (two years) and swimming (one year) at Lakeview High School...A three-time all-conference, all-city and team MVP award winner who was a third team all-state pick and SWMLC Player Of The Year as a senior...BJ Sports Bandits, based in Kalamazoo, was his club team.

Personal: Chose Albion because he follows four siblings, including Tess, a swimmer, and Jon, a cross country and track runner, at the college and because Albion would push him on the field and more importantly, in the classroom...Lists running, reading, and concerts as hobbies and politics, cars, and traveling as interests... A communications studies major who will concentrate in the education program as well as be a member of the Gerald R.
