Biography

Alice Garvin Achieved distinction on the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association’s Academic Honor Roll for the second time in 2015-2016.

2015: Collected nine hits and drew 12 walks to finish the season with a .288 on-base percentage...Collected a pair of singles against Illinois College and Marietta...Her first inning single drove in the game-winning run in Albion's 3-2 victory over Marietta...Singled and walked in the second game of the doubleheader against Alma.

2014: Collected her first career RBI when she drew a bases loaded walk in a March non-league game against Husson...Produced RBI singles in games against MIAA rivals Kalamazoo and Olivet.

Prior to Albion: Competed in basketball and softball at the prep level...Received a scholar-athlete award.

Personal: Lists reading, writing, and playing with her dog as hobbies...An English major with a secondary education concentration and a history minor...Daughter of Roger and Anne Garvin.
