Why I Chose Albion College:
When I visited, Albion automatically felt like the place I could spend the next four years at & call home. I chose Albion College because I knew I would be "Sarah Likens," not my student ID number. I knew I'd have the opportunity to create close relationships with professors, trainers, coaches, & other faculty.
What I like the most about Albion College Cross Country:
The team and the coaches. Spending a lot of my past seasons struggling with injuries, I am still included as much as possible. I feel pushed & motivated by my coaches, trainers, & teammates to be better than I was yesterday whether that means I am training on the streets, on the bike, or in the water to get me on the next start line. Sometimes all I can do that day is encourage my teammates at practice, but even on days like that I know I have supportive coaches, trainers, & teammates who never make me feel out of place.
