After 10 seasons leading the women's soccer program, Scott stepped down after the 2022 season to become the Associate Athletic Director. During his tenure as head coach, Scott led a team to academic and conference success on the pitch, including 31 All-MIAA picks.
Scott previously served as the head coach of the men's soccer program at Madonna University. He inherited a 3-12 squad and improved the Crusaders to an eight-win team in 2010. In all, Scott coached 12 all-conference performers at Madonna.
Scott came to Madonna after four seasons as an assistant coach at Schoolcraft College. During his time with the Ocelots, Scott aided in game practice preparation and recruitment of new student-athletes. The Ocelots won four straight Michigan Community College Athletic Association championships and were ranked in the top 15 during Scott’s tenure. Schoolcraft finished the 2009 season ranked third by the NJCAA as well as the NSCAA and finished third at the NJCAA National Championship.
Scott has served as vice president of the Livonia City Soccer Club board since 2010 and he served as both an assistant and head coach for teams in the club. He got his start in collegiate coaching as an assistant with the University of Michigan men’s soccer club team from 2004-2006.
Scott was a place kicker and punter on three MIAA champion football teams at Albion. He was placed on the list of honorable mention players in the MIAA by the league coaches in 2001.
An English major who earned a Master's degree in library and information science from Wayne State University, Scott has his USSF B and GK1 licenses, as well as his DOC diploma.
