2022-2023:
  • Finished the season 26-9 (.743).
  • 8 major decisions, 1 tech fall, and 11 falls.
  • Named MIAA athlete of the week on 11/14.
  • Took first place at the Albion Invitational and has also won a consolation bracket this season.
  • Albion went 1-2 in the 184 bracket, led by McDaniel's MIAA Championship, Owen went 2-0 on the weekend.
2021-2022:
  • Took 4th at the Adrian College Invite.
  • Took second at Albion Invitational.
  • Went 3-0 at MIAA Duals that included a pin in 4:49.
  • At the end of the season Owen ended with a 13 to 11 record, with 2 majors, 4 falls, and 1 tech fall.

Personal:  Earned varsity letters in wrestling, football, and track and field. 2-year National Honor Society Member, 4-year Secretary on Class board, maintained a 3.75 GPA, member of Honors Program...In Wrestling named Athletic All-State(3rd Place), Academic All-State, 2x State Qualifier, 4x Regional Qualifier, 2x Regional Runner Up, 2x District Champ, Team District Champion, 2x Conference Champ, 4x Team MVP, 3x Coaches Award, 2x Most Take downs, 2x Most Wins...totaled 148 Career wins...In Track and Field was a State Qualifier in the Discuss throw, and earned the highest amount of points on the team. In Football, 2x 1st Team Conference Linebacker, Player of the Week in the greater Kalamazoo Area, 2nd Team Dream Team in Kalamazoo. Also, the son to Chad McDaniel and Gwen McDaniel brother to Ryan McDaniel, Samantha McDaniel.
