ADRIAN, Mich. – Albion College shot 17 percent while everything Adrian College launched seemed to go in the basket in the first half. Adrian jumped out to a 35-5 lead and it went on to record a 78-46 victory over Albion in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's basketball action at the Merillat Gymnasium.

Albion missed its first six shots. Carter Elliiott (Franklin/Detroit Country Day) produced the Britons' first basket more than four minutes into the game. Elliott sank the second of a two-shot free throw opportunity as Albion trailed 17-3.

Albion connected on 5-of-28 shots from the floor in the first half.

Alex Harville (Clinton Township/De La Salle) and Zach Hurth (Lansing/Lansing Catholic Central) led the Britons with 11 points apiece. Lawrence Ridgell (River Rouge/Inkster) added 10 points off the bench.

Adrian's Sean Gallant made all seven of his shots from the floor as he produced a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds.
