Box Score NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Hillary Burton, Ashley Morfin, and Maggie Wenzel each scored two goals off the bench to power Saint Mary's College to a 7-0 decision over Albion College in Tuesday Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer action.
Mollie Valencia scored the only goal for the Belles' starting unit five minutes into the contest. Morfin scored twice in a nine-minute span as Saint Mary's held a 3-0 lead at halftime.
Saint Mary's dominated the first half with a 19-0 advantage in shots. The Belles added 13 shots in the second half, but Albion was able to maintain some possession and it was credited with three shots. Lindsey Lubanski led the Britons with three shots.
Albion returns home at 4 p.m. Thursday to challenge MIAA rival Olivet College.
