ALBION, Mich. – Domenique Sarnecky produced a first-half goal, but Albion College was unable to make it hold up in a 3-1 loss to Alma College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer contest.

Sarnecky scored her fourth goal of the season in the fifth minute.

Albion was able to keep Alma scoreless until the second half. Ann Kennedy scored in the 50^th minute and Agatha Weddle added scores in the 74^th and 82^nd minutes.

Lindsey Lubanski  was credited with three of Albion's six shots in the contest.
