NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Albion College maintained its share of first place in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's tennis standings with an 8-1 win over Saint Mary's College. Albion improved to 6-6 overall and 4-0 against league rivals. Hope College could also push its league record to 4-0 with a win over Alma College on Wednesday.

Albion won four of the top five singles matches in straight sets. Margaux Kabodian was impressive in winning the No. 4 match by scores of 6-0, 6-1. Marissa Cloutier, Katie Blumberg, and Heather Vogt all won their seventh singles matches of the season.

Albion will host Olivet College April 13 for a MIAA match.
