WARRENVILLE, Ill. -  Ali Beckhorn, Angela Morrison and Michelle Samson all achieved season-best times as a group of Albion College runners competed Friday in the Benedictine University Invitational at the St. James Farm Forest Preserve.

Morrison improved her season-best by 48 seconds when she completed the 6K course in 27:33.62. Samson improved her season best by more than a minute and a half, reaching the finish in 28:24.84. Beckthorn shaved 3:34 off her previous season best when she reached the finish in 32:34.54.

Sarah Likens, running at the 6K distance for the first time this season, posted a time of 32:30.80.
