ALBION, Mich. - Albion College won the top four singles and top two doubles contests to score a 6-3 victory over Spring Arbor University in a non-league women's tennis contest.
Marissa Cloutier rallied from a set down to take the No. 1 singles match. She took the second set in a tiebreaker and the super breaker, 10-4, to secure the point for the Britons.
Katie Blumberg, Irene Chen, and Heather Vogt won their matches in straight sets.
Blumberg and Chen completed a good day by winning the No. 1 doubles match. Cloutier and Vogt teamed to win the No. 2 doubles contest.
Albion, 2-0 on the young season, will face Olivet College Saturday in its first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association match of the season.
