HILTOIN HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - Albion College dominated the doubles contests and that set the tone for a 8-1 victory over Catholic University.

Albion's top two doubles teams (Katie Blumberg and Irene Chen at No. 1 and Marissa Cloutier and Heather Vogt at No. 2) did not lose a game.

Albion won five of the six singles contests in straight sets. Chen dropped just two games in the first set in winning the No. 3 match. Blumberg lost three games to sweep her No. 2 singles match. Cloutier and Vogt lost five games in winning their matches.

Albion will have a week off before returning to non-league action with a March 22 home match against St.  Francis, Ind.
