ALBION, Mich. – Albion College rolled to a 9-0 victory over the University of Saint Francis in non-league women's tennis action.
The Britons set the tone in doubles as No. 1 team Katie Blumberg and Irene Chen won their match 8-1 and No. 2 team Marissa Cloutier and Heather Vogt won 8-0. Albion won the No. 3 flight by default.
Albion won the top five singles matches in straight sets and No. 6 by default. Blumberg and Chen boast 8-1 records this season after winning at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Vogt won the No. 4 match 6-0, 6-0.
Albion, now 7-1 in spring dual matches, will return to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association competition March 29 when it travels to Alma College.
