ALMA, Mich. – Albion College won its second Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association contest in as many days Wednesday, shutting out Alma College, 9-0.

It was a dominant performance, especially in the middle of the singles lineup. Katie Blumberg, Irene Chen, Heather Vogt, and Lauren Rasmussen lost just eight games in the matches ranging from No. 2-5. Blumberg and Chen improved to 10-0 in dual matches. Marissa Cloutier, Albion's No. 1 singles player, and Vogt are 9-1 in dual matches.

Albion, 9-1 overall and 3-0 against MIAA rivals, travels to Grand Rapids for a Friday contest against Calvin College.
