ALBION, Mich. – Albion College will have the No. 3 seed for the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Tennis Tournament after suffering a 9-0 loss to Hope College.

Despite the final score, Albion had chances to notch a point.

Marissa Cloutier and Heather Vogt lost the No. 2 doubles match, 9-7.

The top two singles matches stretched to three sets as Cloutier and Katie Blumberg won the first set of their singles matches. At No. 3 singles, Irene Chen lost the first set, 7-5.

Albion finished the regular season 12-3 overall and 6-2 against MIAA rivals.
