HOLLAND, Mich. – The Albion College women's tennis team completed the season with a 12-4 overall record after taking a 5-1 loss to Hope College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament semifinal match.
Marissa Cloutier and Heather Vogt, Albion's No. 2 doubles team, earned the point with an 8-3 victory. They finished the season with a 14-2 record.
Hope won the Nos. 4-6 singles matches in straight sets to bring the contest to decision.
Cloutier and Katie Blumberg, Albion's top two singles players, were the seniors who completed their collegiate careers. Cloutier finished the season 13-4 overall, including 12-3 at No. 1 singles. Blumberg was 14-2, including 14-1 at No. 2.
