Box Score ALBION, Mich. – Maggie Troost collected three of her eight saves in overtime as Albion College forged a 1-1 draw with Olivet College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer action.
Caroline Eagan produced the equalizer for Albion, scoring off a corner kick in the 76th minute.
Olivet scored its goal in the first half when Lauren Vanderhoff converted a penalty kick.
Shots were 12-9 in favor of Olivet, but the Comets edge in shots on goal was just 9-8. Eagan placed all three of her attempts on frame. Jenna Urso also generated a pair of shots on goal.
Albion, 8-8-1 overall and 6-7-1 against MIAA rivals, will play its final two contests of the season on the road. The Britons have an Oct. 31 trip to Kalamazoo College and a Nov. 2 date at Calvin College.
