ADRIAN, Mich. – Jim Chapman forged a tie for 10th on the individual leader board as Albion College finished sixth in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's golf jamboree at the Lenawee Country Club.
A sophomore from St. Clair Shores, Chapman achieved a score of 79 for the second time this week. He also set the score Monday at the Watermark Golf Club in Grand Rapids.
Brandon Rincon completed a round of 83 and Tyler Covell, Connor Maddalena and Justin Leeds all had rounds of 88 for Albion's 338 total.
Hope College's 307 total was 15 strokes better than Adrian College. Kalamazoo College (324) was third, followed by Trine University (327) and Calvin College (332).
The final MIAA jamboree of the season is set for Oct. 6 at the Wuskowhan Players Club in West Olive, Mich.
