Albion College Head Swimming Coach Jake Taber says the team the Britons have sent to the NCAA Division III Championship is in line for a fun weekend after the performance by Sebastian Tostado in the 200 individual medley Wednesday morning.
Tostado lowered his school record to 1:52.86 during the preliminary swims.
Tostado was joined by David Alday, Parker Belmore and Derek Bosko as the Britons raced as a team for the first time by entering the 200 medley relay. The Britons achieved a time of 1:36.04.
"It was nice to have a race before we get to the freestyle relay events," Taber said. "Sebastian's freestyle was good and it leads me to believe we're in line for a good weekend."
The Britons will dive in Thursday for the 200 freestyle relay and Tostado will have an individual swim in the 200 freestyle.
