ALMA, Mich. - Connor Maddalena shot a 6-over 78 to lead Albion College in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's golf jamboree at the Pine River Country Club.

Jim Chapman matched his season-best score of 80, Justin Leeds produced an 82, and Tyler Covell added an 83 as Albion achieved a 323 team score.

Brandon Rincon, playing as an individual, achieved a season-best score of 77.

Albion finished sixtn in the team standings for the round. Hope's 298 score was two strokes better than Kalamazoo and five strokes better than Trine.

The next MIAA Jamboree is scheduled for Monday at Kalamazoo.
