KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Albion College recorded a season-best 313 team score in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's golf jamboree at the Kalamazoo Country Club.

Unfortunately for the Britons, the league rivals played well, too. The Britons finished sixth in the team standings, falling behind Calvin (302), Kalamazoo (304), Hope (306), Trine (308) and Adrian (311).

Connor Maddalena turned in Albion's low score, finishing eighth overall, with a 5-over 76.

Justin Leeds matched his career-best score of 78 and Tyler Covell contributed a round of 79. Brandon Rincon completed Albion's total with a score of 80.

The fifth MIAA jamboree of the season is set for Saturday at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Ind.
