CHICAGO – Samantha LaRocca scored a goal in each half and Domenique Sarnecky tacked on a goal and an assist as Albion College rolled to a 5-0 victory over North Park University in the opening contest of the women's soccer season.

Kayla Paquette and Molly Hancock also tacked on goals for the Britons.

Albion controlled the contest, finishing with a 19-4 edge in shots. LaRocca placed three of her six shots on goal. Hancock and Sarah Castellano generated a pair of shots on goal apiece.

Goalkeeper Maggie Troost was credited with making two saves in gaining her 12^th career shutout.

Albion will return home Sunday to play the first contest at the new Davis Athletic Complex. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
