Box Score ALBION, Mich. – Caroline Fleming's goal in the 19th minute was the only scoring as Adrian College escaped Albion College with a 1-0 victory in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer action.
Playing under chilly, rainy conditions, Albion finished with a 12-11 edge in shots. Adrian placed five shots on goal, compared to three for Albion. Samantha LaRocca, Alex Radzville and Mikaela Ray had the shots on goal for Albion.
Albion (7-5-1 overall, 6-4-1 MIAA) plays at home again Wednesday when it hosts Olivet College for a 7 p.m. kickoff at the Davis Athletic Complex.
