ALBION, Mich. – Albion College placed nine shots on goal Wednesday night, but it was unable to score in a 4-0 0loss to Olivet College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer action at the Davis Athletic Complex.

Isabelle Leon sprinted past the Briton defense, scoring three goals and dishing out the assist on Rachael Durocher's strike.

Albion hit some hard shots late in the first half. Mikaela Ray's attempt forced Olivet goalkeeper Samantha Gifford to reach above her head, and Emily Brittain tested Gifford.

Jenna Urso was denied on a shot from close range in the second half, and Samantha LaRocca drove a shot that was directed at Gifford's midsection.

Albion (7-6-1 overall, 6-5-1 MIAA) travels to Kalamazoo College on Saturday for a noon match.
