Box Score ALBION, Mich. – The Albion College women's soccer team has dealt with a seemingly endless string of injuries this season, but Saturday was a celebration.
Jenna Urso scored a goal and dished out two assists, Samantha LaRocca added a goal and an assist and Molly Hancock and Mikaela Ray each scored goals as the Britons gained a 7-0 victory over Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Saint Mary's College.
Hancock, LaRocca, Ray, Urso, Athena Balcoff, Maggie Troost, and Maddie Willerer were all recognized before the match as the seniors who were playing on the home turf for the final time.
Emiliy Wolford, Sarah Castellano and Clare Kelley also scored goals for the Britons.
Albion dominated the contest, finishing with a 44-3 edge in shots. Shots on goal were 25-2 in favor of Albion.
Goalkeepers Hannah Reamer and Megan Bricely collected a save in each half to complete the shutout.
Albion (8-7-2 overall, 7-6-2 MIAA) will complete the season with a 3 p.m. Monday match at Alma College.
