Box Score MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Kyle Thomas passed for three touchdowns and the defense scored three touchdowns as Albion College gained a 48-14 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran College in non-league football action.
Thomas threw a pair of touchdown strikes to Brian Blanzy and he hooked up with Sean Koski for a 28-yard score.
Overall, Thomas threw for 213 yards.
Doug Freeman led the Britons on the ground with 88 yards.
The defense turned the game into a rout in the second half as Joe Schwartz and Drew Shafer returned interceptions for touchdowns and Jakob Wickens recovered a fumble in the endzone.
Schwartz led the defensive unit with nine tackles. Dallis Reynolds had a big day with three tackles for loss. Wickens and Knikolaus Davenport each wrapped up two tackles for loss.
Albion, 3-5 overall, travels to Holland, Mich., next Saturday for a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association date against Hope College.
