CHICAGO, Ill. – Nate Kozycki achieved the third-fastest time in the nation at this point of the season in the 100-yard butterfly as Albion College swimmers completed a grueling three-day meet hosted by the University of Chicago.

Kozycki achieved the top qualifying time – 49.50 seconds – and went on to finish third in the evening championship race at 49.84.

Kozycki also turned in the low split as Albion achieved a fifth place performance in the 400 freestyle relay. Parker Belmore turned in a 47.61 leadoff split and he was followed by Kozycki (46.73), Jake Huttenlocher (46.99) and Evan Wonner (48.17) for a 3:09.50 finish.
