HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Chrissy Gauss had the best opportunity to claim a point for Albion College in the Britons 9-0 loss to Wilkes University.

Playing No. 4 singles, Gauss split sets with Grace Graham (6-4, 1-6). Graham won the tiebreaker, 11-9, to pull out the match.

Olivia Conover, Albion's No. 3 singles player, lost the second set to Erin Volutza, 7-5.

Albion will complete its spring break competition with a Thursday match against Ohio Northern University.
