HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Chrissy Gauss picked up the point in Albion College's 8-1 loss to Ohio Northern University in spring break women's tennis action.

Gauss was a 6-1, 6-3 winner over Kaleigh Cummins at No. 4 singles.

Albion had an opportunity for a point at No. 2 singles where Lauren Solano split sets with Ola Latala. Latala won the tiebreaker to decide the match, 10-5.

Albion's next match is a March 18 date against Bethel at Knollwood Community College.
