ALBION, Mich. – The Albion College women's tennis team absorbed its first setback in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action this season when it dropped a 9-0 decision to Calvin College on the Dow Outdoor Courts Wednesday afternoon.

The Britons fell to 7-8 overall and 4-1 against MIAA rivals with another league match set for 4 o'clock tomorrow against Saint Mary's College.

Albion's best chance to score a point was No. 3 singles. Olivia Conover won the first set, 6-1, but was unable to maintain the momentum through the next two sets.

Lauren Rasmussen, playing No. 1 singles, lost the first set of her match in a tiebreaker.
