GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Alyssa Brooks scored her first goal of the season for Albion College, but the Britons were unable to make the lead hold up in a 3-1 loss at Calvin College.

Brooks scored on the first shot of the night for either team. The Britons led 17 minutes into the match.

Bekah Maguire scored the equalizer with 2:15 left in the first half.

Calvin claimed the lead on Camie Rietberg's goal three minutes into the second half. Abby Koops completed the scoring for the night with 11 minutes left in regulation.

Albion finished the contest with nine shots, with four on goal. Samantha LaRocca was credited with two shots.

Albion (4-3-1 overall and 3-2-1 against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rivals) plays a 7 o'clock Tuesday match at Saint Mary's College.
