Diver achieves pool record

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – Diver Jake Burris broke the Wabash College pool record for 11 attempts off the 1-meter board in Saturday action.

A senior from Chelsea, Mich., Burris achieved a 511.40 total to win the event. Jonathan Cronick, a sophomore, achieved a personal best to finish fifth.

Tyler Kimbrell produced Albion's best swimming finish, taking second place in the 100-yard breaststroke. He completed his race in 57.57 seconds.

Albion had two up in the final of the 400 individual medley with Jake Huttenlocher in fourth and Noah Mitchell finishing sixth.

Albion received fifth place performances from Mac Robertson (200 freestyle) and Ian Moran (100 backstroke).
