ALBION, Mich. – Bella Scalise picked up the point for Albion College in an 8-1 loss to local rival Spring Arbor University in a non-league women's tennis match Tuesday afternoon.

Scalise won the No. 5 singles match over Jewell Allen by scores of 6-3, 6-3.

All six singles matches were decided in straight sets.

Albion will compete at home again on Sunday when the Britons take the court at 10 a.m. against Heidelberg University.
