HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Albion College took a step up in competition Thursday night as it challenged Division II Ashland University.

Ashland scored a 9-0 victory over the Britons.

In doubles competition, Marceline Redick and Bella Scalise lost the No. 2 flight, 8-6.

Kirstin Moore lost the No. 6 singles match by scores of 6-1 and 6-4.

Albion's final spring break match is noon Friday against DeSales University.
