HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Albion College women's tennis team completed spring break competition with a 6-3 loss to DeSales University.

Albion led 2-1 early with wins at No. 2 (Marcelien Redick and Bella Scalise) and No. 3 (Abby Burris and Namara Swillum) doubles.

The Britons only singles point came from Bella Scalise. Playing in the No. 5 flight, the first-year player who prepped at Traverse City Central defeated Gabby Serratore 6-2, 6-7 (5), 10-3. She boasts a 5-4 record in singles this season.

Christina Rafaill played a match decided in a tiebreaker. She split sets with Alex Rodier at No. 3 singles before falling, 10-8, at the end.

Albion returns home Wednesday for a 4 o'clock home match against Lawrence Tech.
