KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Alise Haddad won a pair of backdraw matches Saturday to move to the semifinal of the bracket in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Regional Championship.

Haddad defeated Ashley Hammons (Denison University) 6-1, 6-2 and Caitlyn Schaffer-Harris (Augustana) 6-4, 6-4.

In the main draw on Friday, Lauren Solano started with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Emily Day from John Carroll University in the first round. Solano was defeated in the second round.
