The Albion women's tennis team battled their entire match Friday against St. John Fisher but fell just short, 5-4, in Hilton Head, S.C.

The Britons won two singles matches as Marceline Redck dispatched Cydney Bell, 6-2, 6-1 and Mya Duncan defeated Theresa Van Wormer, 1-6, 6-4, 11-9. In doubles competition, Breh Ruger and Saige Jost beat Zuzanna Pochieca and Van Wormer, 8-7 (7-5) and Namara Swillum and Duncan beat Valerie Mordans and Jackie Chainard, 8-0.

The Britons return to action March 24 when they host Anderson University.
