GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The regular season came to a close for the Albion College men's soccer team, dropping a 2-0 decision to Calvin University.
After a scoreless first half, the Knights broke through with a goal midway through the second half. A late PK doubled the advantage for the hosts, as Calvin controlled the momentum all night.
The Knights held a significant advantage in shots and corners.
Freshman goalkeeper Carson Foor tallied eight saves in the match.
Sitting at 2-4-1 in the conference, Albion has clinched a spot in the upcoming MIAA Tournament. The Britons will be on the road Saturday with an opponent and game time TBD.
